Janet is probably best known for her work in the flamboyant and varied world of television light entertainment where she designed for variety shows with razzmatazz dance numbers, sitcoms and sketch shows. Because of tight schedules, drawings need to be produced quickly. There is no time for over indulgence. Speed and adaptability are of the essence. To this end, Janet chooses to use pencil and crayon, charcoal and pastel or coloured marker pens.
